Cassie consults with students and adults in the area of behavior and assistive technology to identify and design systems of support that enable independence and improved emotional and behavioral outcomes.

Cassie has provided training at the state and national level, including Closing the Gap, the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA), the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), and the Council for Exceptional Children.  She has experience working with individuals, students, and school districts, as well as presenting at local, state, and national conferences focusing on assistive technology, social and emotional learning, and special education.

Cassie engages her audience with sessions that delve into student behaviors, classroom engagement, and the need for accessibility across all environments. Participants leave with tools and supports that are ready to use the next day in their classrooms.  Her background as a special education teacher helps her create training that is viewed as fun, engaging, and most importantly, applicable to individuals’ unique needs.
